The original Thai song is by a band called Musketeers. The song basically talks about how important the other person is to the singer. He sings about promising to only love her and that’s she’s all he needs. It really is a perfect song for a wedding or proposal.

I really tried my best to keep the meaning and feeling of the original. The thing is my friends always took good care of me when we were in university. They were a few years older than me. They treated me really well and treated me like a little sister, despite not seeing each other very often. At the time they were already engaged, having been together for quite a long time. After I graduated and left, they also moved back to Thailand. A few years have passed and they finally decided to tie the knot in May 2017. Of course they invited me, and I was so touched. However, I couldn’t go to Thailand to attend their wedding. I wanted to give them a wedding present at the very least. However, I don’t exactly have the luxury to spend alot of money. I also didn’t know what to get them or how to give it to them. So I did the only thing I knew how to do. I decided I’d write some lyrics and sing a song for them. The song by Musketeers automatically popped into my head, and I thought it was a perfect fit. I even used their pre-wedding photo as my “album art” haha~

BONUS
2017 was not a great year for me. However, I had some amazing moments.
One of them was that Ten, the singer from Musketeers, saw my cover~
I had posted a clip of the initial cover on my Instagram back then. I usually tag artists I cover, so people know who to go check out~ Anyway, Ten saw and liked my cover. He also left a short comment: “Nice”
I know to some people, it’s not a big deal. However, it made me so happy to see that an artist I liked took the time to see and like my work.
